In MCU systems are no longer being seen as policy servers, data is not being pulled from the Unix systems.
说明
In the Management Console for Unix, systems are no longer being seen as policy servers, data is not being pulled from the Unix systems, possibly license information is also not seen.
原因
The MCU runs pmsrvinfo to determine the configuration status of the server and if the qpm-server package is installed.
# pmsrvinfo --csv
If this command can be run successfully as root but not as the user you are using to manage the MCU then check that setuid bit hasn't been turned off.
解决办法
The MCU runs pmsrvinfo to determine to configuration status of the server if the qpm-server package is installed.
/opt/quest/sbin/pmsrvinfo should be a symlink that points to the actual binary under the /opt/quest/sbin/qpm4u_<version> directory.
The actual binary should have the setuid bit set so that it can run suid as root. It’s worth checking that the setuid bit hasn't been turned off as this could prevent the binary from correctly reporting on the servers configuration, unless it is actually run by the root user.
