Error 1721 or 1722 during the install or uninstall of Privilege Manager for Windows Client version 4.8 (4378877)

During the installation process (by either installing or uninstalling) of Safeguard Privilege Manager for Windows Client version 4.8, an error code 1721 or 1722 occurs which results in a failed installation of the client.

STATUS:

Change Request # 482870 will address this issue in Privilege Manager for Windows version 4.9 subject to successful QA and Product management approval.

WORKAROUND:

The Microsoft Troubleshooter tool can be used to force uninstall the client.
