Changes resulting in a 'Tainted' firmware may need to be reverted before the system can be supported.

If changes have been made to a system resulting in the firmware being flagged as 'tainted' they may need to be reverted to support the system.
解决办法

Tainted firmware are usually the result of manual changes on the shell of the system. Adding users or modifying files can result in this outcome.
Those changes can have unintended consequences and might need to be reverted before the system can be supported.
An upgrade will not complete at all with a tainted file system.
