1. Press the power button on the front panel of the appliance, and wait for the appliance to boot.
2 .Connect a remote host computer (laptop, etc.) to the /config interface port (Port 2) using a crossover cable.

3. Set the IP address of the remote host to any address on the 192.168.1.XXX subnet, except for 192.168.1.105.
4. From the remote host, open a web browser session to: https://192.168.1.105/config. If prompted to accept the certificate, click Yes.
5. Enter parmaster for the User Name. The password is supplied in the documentation accompanying the appliance
6. From Network Settings | Modify Network Settings, enter the IP address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway. Click Save Settings. This updates the network details for Port 1.
After connecting a network cable into the Network interface (Port 1) you should be able to access TPAM from the above configured IP address, on the various interfaces.

NOTE: TPAM does not reply to pings.Refer to the System Administrator Guide (available
here), to continue the configuration of TPAM.
Troubleshooting Tips1. Ensure you are not using a proxy server on your browser
2. Disable any firewalls on the laptop
3. Test using a different cross-over cable
4. Test using a different browser such as Firefox or Chrome.
5. Ensure you are connected to the correct port on TPAM. Port 1 = TPAM Network Interface Port 2 = TPAM Config Interface
6. Check TPAM has booted. If you have connected a Video cable, or are accessing the iDRAC after boot a screen similar to below will be shown.
7. Run MsConfig to disable all 3rd party services (make sure to check Hide Microsoft Services) and disable all startup applications then restart and test access. If this works then once completed the configuration, run MsConfig to set it back to normal startup and restart the workstation to get it back to original state.
The details in the bottom left corner should be "Operational" or "Maintenance", and "Primary" or "Replica"
