Displaying responsibilities of my reports

To obtain an overview of your reports' responsibilities, you can display a summary of the responsibilities.

To display the responsibilities of your reports

  1. In the menu bar, click Responsibilities > Responsibilities of my reports menu.

    This opens the Responsibilities of My Reports page and displays all the responsibilities of identities whose responsibilities require action to be taken because the identities have left or are shortly leaving the company.

  2. (Optional) To display the responsibilities of all identities for which you are responsible, toggle the Show only responsibilities for which action are needed switch.

  3. (Optional) To display details of a responsibility, click the corresponding responsibility.

  4. (Optional) To show whether or which identities also have a responsibility, perform the following actions:

    1. Click the corresponding responsibility.

    2. On the View Responsibility Details side panel, click the Other identities responsible for the object tab.

Adding additional identities to responsibilities of my reports

To ensure that no objects remain without an active responsibility, you can assign additional identities to responsibilities.

To add an additional identity to your reports' responsibilities

  1. In the menu bar, click Responsibilities > Responsibilities of my reports menu.

  2. (Optional) To display responsibilities of all identities that report to you, on the Responsibilities of My Reports page, toggle the Show only responsibilities for which actions are needed switch.

  3. Click the responsibility to which you want to assign additional identities.

  4. In the View Responsibility Details side panel, click Assign additional identities/Assign additional identity.

  5. In the Assign Additional Identities/Assign Additional Identity side panel, next to the identity that will also be responsible, select the check box.

  6. Click Assign.

Reassigning responsibilities of my reports

To ensure that no object is left without an active responsibility, you can reassign responsibilities to other identities. This withdraws the responsibility from the identity originally responsible.

To reassign a responsibility to another identity

  1. In the menu bar, click Responsibilities > Responsibilities of my reports menu.

  2. (Optional) To display responsibilities of all identities that report to you, on the Responsibilities of My Reports page, toggle the Show only responsibilities for which actions are needed switch.

  3. Next to the responsibility you want to reassign, select the check box.

  4. Click Reassign responsibilities.

  5. In the Reassign Responsibility side panel, next to the identity to take over responsible, select the check box.

  6. Click Reassign.

Removing responsibilities from my reports

To ensure that no object is left without an active responsibility, you can remove responsibilities from identities.

To remove a responsibility from an identity

  1. In the menu bar, click Responsibilities > Responsibilities of my reports menu.

  2. (Optional) To display responsibilities of all identities that report to you, on the Responsibilities of My Reports page, toggle the Show only responsibilities for which actions are needed switch.

  3. Next to the responsibility you want to remove from an identity, select the check box.

  4. Click Remove responsibilities.

  5. On the Remove Responsibility side panel, next to the identity that will be no longer responsible, select the check box.

  6. Click Remove responsibility.
