Extended properties are meta objects, such as operating codes, cost codes, or cost accounting areas that cannot be mapped directly in One Identity Manager.

To specify extended properties for an Microsoft 365 group

In the Manager, select the Microsoft Entra ID > Microsoft 365 groups category.

Select the Microsoft 365 group in the result list.

Select Assign extended properties.

In the Add assignments pane, assign extended properties.
TIP: In the Remove assignments pane, you can remove assigned extended properties.
To remove an assignment
- Save the changes.
When you delete an Microsoft 365 group, the Microsoft Entra ID group associated with the Microsoft 365 group is also deleted.
To delete an Microsoft 365 group

In the Manager, select the Microsoft Entra ID > Microsoft 365 groups category.

Select the Microsoft 365 group in the result list.

Click in the result list.
- Confirm the security prompt with Yes.
The members of a dynamic distribution group are not fixed but are determined using a filter criteria. Dynamic distribution groups are loaded into One Identity Manager through synchronization and can only be edited to a limited extent in One Identity Manager. You cannot create new dynamic distribution groups in One Identity Manager.

To edit the main data of a dynamic distribution group

In the Manager, select the Microsoft Entra ID > Tenants > <Microsoft Entra ID tenant> > Exchange Online administration > Recipient configuration > Dynamic distribution groups category.

Select the dynamic distribution group in the result list and run the Change main data task.

Edit the dynamic distribution group's main data.
- Save the changes.
