The heading bar, at the top of each page, displays the account and general information about the Security Analytics Engine.

Click to return to the Home page of the Security Analytics Engine Administration web site.

NOTE: If the following two items are not automatically displayed, click the button in the upper right corner.

Click <Username> and select Log Out to disconnect from the Security Analytics Engine Administration web site.
If the session has timed out or you are no longer logged into the Security Analytics Engine, this will be replaced with a Log In option. From the drop-down menu, select either Log In to access the general login page or Fallback Log In to access the Fallback login page.
About
Click to display the About Security Analytics Engine dialog which displays general release information about the Security Analytics Engine, copyright information, third-party components, legal notices and contact information.

Navigating the Administration web site

To navigate the Security Analytics Engine Administration web site, use the breadcrumb trail directly beneath the heading bar or your browser’s navigation buttons. As you open pages they become links in the breadcrumb trail, with the button to the far left and the currently displayed page furthest to the right.
These links are used to navigate back to parent pages but after being clicked will erase all links for later pages. For example, if the button is clicked while on the Auditing page, the Reports and Auditing links disappear. To return to the Auditing page, use your browser’s back button or from the Home page click Reports then click the Auditing link.

Filter data

In order to aid users in locating specific information quickly and efficiently, the Security Analytics Engine provides column level filtering throughout the Administration web site. This column level filtering is often helpful when used alongside the other search capabilities provided on some of the Security Analytics Engine pages.
To filter data
Throughout the main pages of the Security Analytics Engine Administration web site, you will see a button to the right of each column heading. This button is used to filter the data within the column in order to locate specific items.

Click on the button to the right of a column heading.

The column heading will be replaced by an empty field. In the field, enter a word or string of characters that will be used to filter the column data. The table will update automatically as you type to display items that contain that word or string of characters anywhere within the column.

Additional columns can be filtered using the same method in order to further narrow down the items appearing in the table. All filtering applied to the table will remain in effect until removed.

To remove filtering, click the button to the right of the column heading to which filtering has been applied or refresh the page to reset the table to its default display settings.

The items in a column can also be sorted to help you locate a specific event. To sort the data:
•
Click on the button to the left of the column heading to be used for the sort criteria.
•
The sort order will then be in ascending order (), but can be changed to descending order by clicking the button a second time ().
•
To remove the sort order from a column, click the button to remove the column sorting ().
