Use the Administration Portal to configure settings for cost centers that are managed in the Web Portal.
You can specify whether new cost centers can be created in the Web Portal.
Required configuration keys:
Cost centers can be created (EnableNewProfitcenter): Specifies whether users can create cost centers.
To enable or disable creation of cost centers
Log in to the Administration Portal (see Logging in to the Administration Portal).
In the navigation, click Configuration.
On the Configuration page, in the Show configuration for the following API project drop-down, select the Web Portal API project.
Expand the Cost centers can be created configuration key.
Perform one of the following actions:
To enable creation, select the Cost centers can be created check box.
To disable creation, clear the Cost centers can be created check box.
Click Apply.
Perform one of the following actions:
If you want to apply the changes locally only, click Apply locally.
If you want to apply the changes globally, click Apply globally.
Click Apply.
Use the Administration Portal to configure settings for service items that are managed in the web portal.
You can specify which properties users can change when they edit service items.
Required configuration key:
Properties editors/Editable properties/AccProduct (ServerConfig/OwnershipConfig/EditableFields/AccProduct): Specify which of the service item properties users can edit.
To configure the editable properties of service items
Log in to the Administration Portal (see Logging in to the Administration Portal).
In the navigation, click Configuration.
On the Configuration page, in the Show configuration for the following API project drop-down, select the Web Portal API project.
Expand the Properties editors/Editable properties/AccProduct configuration keys.
You can perform the following actions:
To add a property, click New and select the corresponding property from the drop-down.
To change an existing property, select the property in the corresponding drop-down.
To remove a property, Next to the corresponding property, click (Delete).
Click Apply.
Perform one of the following actions:
If you want to apply the changes locally only, click Apply locally.
If you want to apply the changes globally, click Apply globally.
Click Apply.
