Assigning Notes Groups as Document Administrators
Specify which documents the group should administrate. You can only assign documents belonging to the same domain as the group.
To specify a group as administrator for user accounts
- Select the category IBM Notes | Groups.
- Select the group in the result list.
- Select Assign administrable documents in the task view.
- Select the User tab.
- Assign user accounts in Add assignments.
- OR -
Remove user accounts in Remove assignments.
- Save the changes.
To specify a group as administrator for groups
- Select the category IBM Notes | Groups.
- Select the group in the result list.
- Select Assign administrable documents in the task view.
- Select the Groups tab.
- Assign groups in Add assignments.
- OR -
Remove groups in Remove assignments.
- Save the changes.
To specify a group as administrator for mail-in databases
- Select the category IBM Notes | Groups.
- Select the group in the result list.
- Select Assign administrable documents in the task view.
- Select the Mail-in DB tab.
- Assign mail-in databases in Add assignments.
- OR -
Remove the mail-in database in Remove assignments.
- Save the changes.
To specify a group as administrator for certificates
- Select the category IBM Notes | Groups.
- Select the group in the result list.
- Select Assign administrable documents in the task view.
- Select the Certificate tab.
- Assign certificates in Add assignments.
- OR -
Remove certificates in Remove assignments.
- Save the changes.
To specify a group as administrator for server documents
- Select the category IBM Notes | Groups.
- Select the group in the result list.
- Select Assign administrable documents in the task view.
- Select the Server document tab.
- Assign the server documents in Add assignments.
- OR -
Remove server documents in Remove assignments.
- Save the changes.
To specify a group as administrator for servers
- Select the category IBM Notes | Groups.
- Select the group in the result list.
- Select Assign administrable documents in the task view.
- Select the Server tab.
- Assign the servers in Add assignments.

Specify which user accounts and groups are allowed to edit the selected group.
To specify user accounts as owner of a group
- Select the category IBM Notes | Groups.
- Select the group in the result list.
- Select Assign owner in the task view.
- Select the User tab.
- Assign user accounts in Add assignments.
- OR -
Remove user accounts in Remove assignments.
- Save the changes.
To specify groups as owner of a group
- Select the category IBM Notes | Groups.
- Select the group in the result list.
- Select Assign owner in the task view.
- Select the Groups tab.

Specify which user accounts and groups are allowed to administrate the selected Notes group.
To specify user accounts as administrators for groups
- Select the category IBM Notes | Groups.
- Select the group in the result list.
- Select Assign administrators in the task view.
- Select the User tab.
- Assign user accounts in Add assignments.
- OR -
Remove user accounts in Remove assignments.
- Save the changes.
To specify groups as administrators for groups
- Select the category IBM Notes | Groups.
- Select the group in the result list.
- Select Assign administrators in the task view.

Assigning Extended Properties to a Notes Group
Extended properties are meta objects that cannot be mapped directly in the One Identity Manager, for example, operating codes, cost codes or cost accounting areas.
To specify extended properties for a group
- Select the category IBM Notes | Groups.
- Select the group in the result list.
- Select Assign extended properties in the task view.
- Assign extended properties in Add assignments.
- OR -
Remove extended properties from Remove assignments.
- Save the changes.
