To add a base object using an existing database object
If the base object does not yet exist in the One Identity Manager database, use the wizard to create a base object.

NOTE: The wizard is only available to target systems that are contained in One Identity Manager as default modules. The wizard cannot be used in synchronization projects with the CSV connector |
To add a base object using a wizard
In this case, set the option Connect using remote connection server and select, under Job serverServer with the One Identity Manager Service installed., the server you want to use for the connection.
Follow the system connection wizard instructions. For more detailed information about which connection parameter you required, see the administration guide for the respective system.
If the synchronization server is not declare as a job server in the One Identity Manager database yet, you can add a new job server.
The synchronization server is declared as job server for the target system in the One Identity Manager database.

NOTE: Ensure that this server is set up as the synchronization server after saving the synchronization project. |
The wizard creates a variable set with the given connection parameters. It adds the synchronization base object, for example, the actual Active Directory domain you want to synchronize, as object in the One Identity Manager database.

To delete a base object
Enter the following properties for a base object.

Select the table from which to select the base object, for example, ADSDomain. |
Base object |
Select the object from the base table formed by the base object for synchronization and provisioning processes. |
Synchronization server |
Select the synchronization server. |
Variable set |
Select the variable set that contains the connection parameter which corresponds with the base object. Variables from selected variable sets are displayed. For each base objects there must be a start up configuration, which uses the same variable set. |
