Logging Off

When you want to finish working with the Web Portal, you should log off the system.

To log off the Web Portal

  1. Click on your user name in the header and then Log off.
  2. Confirm with Yes.

    Your system may be configured to log you off automatically if you are inactive for a period of time.

Setting a Secret Password Question

If your password is reset, you can set a password question in the Web Portal. Think of a special question that only you can answer.

The tip of setting a password question, is shown as a tile on the start page. It is shown there until you have set a password question.

You can specify a new password question under My Profile | Password.

To set a secret password question

  1. Perform one of the following tasks.
    1. Click Set your secret password question now to unlock your account in the future on the start page.

      - OR -

    2. Open My Profile with and select Contact data.
    3. Click Password question.
  2. Enter you secret password question in Query for central password in the My password view.
  3. Enter your secret password answer in Reply for central password.
  4. Enter you secret password answer again in Confirm.
  5. Click Save to confirm.

Password Reset Portal Login

You can reset your password in the Password Reset Portal. To use the Password Reset Portal, you must have at least one of the following authentication requirements:

  • A passcode from your manager.
  • A user name and your own password for logging in to the Web Portal.
  • A personal password question must be set.

For example, you can access the Password Reset Portal through the links Manage your passwords or Forgot your password? Click here. on the Web Portal login page. or you can enter the URL of the Password Reset Portal in the web browser. You will be given the URL together with the passcode, by your manager.

To log yourself into the Password Reset Portal

  1. Open the Password Reset Portal and select an authentication method, for example "I have a passcode'.
  2. Enter your central user account (user name) in the text box.
  3. Enter the code shown at the security prompt and click Next.

    If the code is not clear enough to read, you can generate a new code with the Generate a different code link.

  4. Enter your passcode on the next page and click Next.
  5. Select one of the following options on the next page:
    1. I want to reset one or more passwords
    2. I want to reset my central password
  6. Mark the desired account under Personal accounts or Other accounts. Multi-select is possible. Click Next.

    New passwords are set for the marked accounts.

  7. Enter a new password on the next page.

    Ensure the password strength is sufficient. You can also use Password policies to find out about password requirements.

  8. Enter the new password under Repeat the password and click Next.
  9. Use Log off to leave the Password Reset Portal after successfully changing your password.

Updating your Contact Information

Updating your Contact Information

Once you have logged in to the system for the first time, or any time you move within the company, you should update your contact information.

NOTE: Light gray text boxes cannot be edited.

To update your contact information

  1. Click in the header and select My Profile in the menu.

  2. Select the Contact Data tab in the Overview.

    NOTE: Users with other sub identities in the Web Portal apart from their main identity, can use the Identity menu to select identities in the Contact Data view.

    Changes to their contact data only affects the selected identity.

    This also applies to creating reports. If you create a report it is generated for the selected identity.

  3. Select the text you want and add or correct the details.
  4. Click Change next to the Country link and perform one of the following tasks.
    1. Select the country you want from the list.
    2. Click the filter to limit your search to the desired country.
  5. Click next to Picture.

    This opens the dialog box Picture.

    NOTE: You may have the option to change your picture depending on the configuration and your permissions.

  6. Click Browse... to search for a picture and confirm your selection with Apply.

    The selected image and other instruction are displayed in the dialog box. If the image is larger that 10KB, you must crop it.

  7. Hold the mouse over the image until a cross cursor appears, click with the left mouse button and drag the mouse diagonally down over the image until the you have selected the required area.
  8. Crop the photo with Crop to selection and save the cut with Apply.
  1. Click Save to save your changes to your Contact Data.
