The error "failed to connect to master" may be displayed when using pmrun.

原因
This error indicates that UPM (Privilege Manager) cannot find the destination machine.
Each UPM component needs to be able to perform a forward and reverse lookup of itself and any other component it needs to communicate with. Commonly this can be achieved using either local name resolution or DNS. -
解决办法
Check name resolution in both directions, ie between the machine hosting pmrun and the machine hosting the master, eg:
nslookup <host>
