Assigning extended properties to Google Workspace admin role assignments

Extended properties are meta objects, such as operating codes, cost codes, or cost accounting areas that cannot be mapped directly in One Identity Manager.

To specify extended properties for an admin role assignment

  1. In the Manager, select the Google Workspace > Admin role assignments category.

  2. Select the admin role assignment in the result list.

  3. Select Assign extended properties.

  4. In the Add assignments pane, assign extended properties.

    TIP: In the Remove assignments pane, you can remove assigned extended properties.

    To remove an assignment

    • Select the extended property and double-click .

  5. Save the changes.

Deleting Google Workspace admin role assignments

To delete an admin role assignment

  1. In the Manager, select the Google Workspace > Admin role assignments category.

  2. Select the admin role assignment in the result list.

  3. Click .

  4. Confirm the security prompt with Yes.

The admin role is permanently deleted from the One Identity Manager database and from Google Workspace.

Google Workspace external email addresses

Google Workspace allows external users that do not have any user accounts in the customer, to have membership in Google Workspace groups. External users are represented by an external email address. They can be assigned as members, owners, or managers to groups that allow external members.

Assigning Google Workspace external email addresses to customers

In the Manager, external email addresses can be assigned to a Google Workspace customer.

To assign an external email address to a customer

  1. In the Manager, select the Google Workspace > External email addresses.

  2. Click in the result list.

  3. Enter the following main data.

    • Google Workspace Customer: Select the customer from the menu.

    • Email address: External user's email address.

  4. Save the changes.
