You use this task to obtain an overview of the most important information for an admin role.

To obtain an overview of an admin role

  1. Select the G Suite | Admin roles category.

  2. Select the admin role in the result list.

  3. Select the G Suite admin role overview task.

Assigning admin privileges to G Suite admin roles

Assign all the privileges to the custom admin roles that you want the user accounts to receive through this admin role.

To assign admin privileges to a custom admin role

  1. In the Manager, select the G Suite | Admin roles category.

  2. Select the admin role in the result list.

  3. Select the Assign admin privileges task.

  4. Assign the admin privileges in the Add assignments area.

    TIP: You can remove the assignment of admin privileges in Remove assignments.

    To remove an assignment

    • Select the admin privilege and double-click .
  5. Save the changes.

Deleting G Suite admin roles

Custom admin roles can be deleted in the Manager. System roles cannot be deleted.

To delete a custom admin role

  1. In the Manager, select the G Suite | Admin roles category.

  2. Select the admin role in the result list.

  3. Click .

  4. Confirm the security prompt with Yes.

The admin role is permanently deleted from the One Identity Manager database and from G Suite.
