Microsoft Entra ID administrator roles
By using Microsoft Entra ID administrator roles, you can assign administrative permissions to users. Microsoft Entra ID recognizes several administrator roles that fulfill different functions. For more information about administrator roles, see the Microsoft Entra ID documentation from Microsoft.
One Identity Manager administrator roles are loaded into Microsoft Entra ID by synchronization. You can edit individual main data of Microsoft Entra ID administrator roles but you cannot create new Microsoft Entra ID administrator roles in One Identity Manager.
To add users to Microsoft Entra ID administrator roles, assign the Microsoft Entra ID administrator roles directly to the user. This may be Microsoft Entra ID administrator role assignments to departments, cost centers, locations, business roles, or the IT Shop.
