Displaying attestation policies for objects pending attestation

You can display policy violations caused by objects pending attestation.

To display the policy violations of an object pending attestation

  1. In the menu bar, click Attestation > Pending Attestations.

  2. On the Pending Attestations page, click the attestation case whose policy violations you want to display.

  3. In the View Attestation Case Details side panel, click the Policy Violations tab.

Displaying and analyzing risk indexes of objects to attest

You can display risk indexes of objects pending attestation and analyze their composition.

NOTE: For more information about risk assessment, see the One Identity Manager Risk Assessment Administration Guide.

To display and analyze the risk index of an object pending attestation and analyze it

  1. In the menu bar, click Attestation > Pending Attestations.

  2. On the Pending Attestations page, click the attestation whose risk index you want to show and analyze.

  3. In the View Attestation Case Details side panel, click Actions > Analyze risk.

Analyzing assignments of objects to attest

You can see how an assignment to an object pending attestation came about by displaying an assignment analysis.

To display the assignment analysis

  1. In the menu bar, click Attestation > Pending Attestations.

  2. On the Pending Attestations page, click the attestation case whose assignment analysis you want to view.

  3. In the View Attestation Case Details side panel, click View assignment analysis.

    TIP: If the assignment was made through a request, you can view the request details. To do this, in the View Assignment Analysis side panel click (View request information).

Approving or denying pending attestation cases

As attestor, you can grant or deny approval for attestation cases under your supervision.

To approve an attestation case

  1. In the menu bar, click Attestation > Pending Attestations.

  2. (Optional) To control which attestations to display, on the Pending Attestations page, click (Filter) (see Using filters).

  3. (Optional) To approve an attestation case as a member of the chief approval team and only display the relevant attestation cases, toggle the Show attestation cases to be approved by chief approval team switch.

  4. Click the attestation case you want to make an approval decision about.

  5. Perform one of the following actions:

    • To approve an attestation case, next to the attestation case, click Approve.

    • To deny an attestation case, next to the attestation case, click Deny.

  6. In the Approve Attestation Case/Deny Attestation Case side panel, perform the following actions:

    1. In the Reason for your decision field, select a standard reason for your approval decision.

    2. In the Additional comments about your decision field, enter extra information about your approval decision.

    TIP: By giving reasons, your approvals are more transparent and support the audit trail.

    NOTE: For more information about standard reasons, see the One Identity Manager IT Shop Administration Guide.

  7. Click Save.

To attest multiple attestation cases

  1. In the menu bar, click Attestation > Pending Attestations.

  2. (Optional) To control which attestations to display, on the Pending Attestations page, click (Filter) (see Using filters).

  3. (Optional) To approve an attestation case as a member of the chief approval team and only display the relevant attestation cases, toggle the Show attestation cases to be approved by chief approval team switch.

  4. Next to the attestation cases that you want grant or deny, select the check box.

  5. Perform one of the following actions:

    • To approve the attestation cases, click Approve below the table.

    • To deny the attestation cases, click Deny below the table.

  6. In the Approve Attestation Case/Deny Attestation Case side panel, perform the following actions:

    1. In the Reason for your decision field, select a standard reason for your approval decision.

    2. In the Additional comments about your decision field, enter extra information about your approval decision.

    TIP: By giving reasons, your approvals are more transparent and support the audit trail.

  7. Click Save.
